Spencer Lake

Let’s Go Boating!

Spencer Lake WA is located in the Agate area of Mason County just off Pickering Road.  It encompasses 230 acres of clean freshwater and is a full water sports lake. You can enjoy skiing, wake boarding, jet skiing, fishing and swimming from morning to evening and have lots of fun.  The Public boat ramp at Spencer Lake WA provides access to boaters near the south end of the lake.  With an adequate parking lot to handle most boat enthusiasts on an average day and a public toilet, get ready to enjoy a day on the water.

Spencer Lake is the best kept secret in Mason County!

Besides water sports, Spencer Lake WA is one of the best fishing lakes in Mason County.  Fishing is good to excellent all summer for Rainbow Trout up to 12 inches and some carryover lunkers.  April anglers have averaged five trout each and fishing is usually good again in the fall.  Spencer Lake WA also provides excellent Large Mouthed Bass fishing during the summer.

We caught our limit of rainbow trout at Spencer Lake during the spring. Better luck with bass during the summer months.

When the day is done stop by the Spencer Lake Resort for a great meal and favorite lakeside cocktail.  They have a wide selection of fantastic hamburgers and my personal favorite is the Terriyaki Burger smothered in a delicious sauce and toppings!
